The New BMW iX

Leading the way in electric mobility, the BMW iX seamlessly merges cutting-edge luxury with zero-emission driving enjoyment. The latest version of this all-electric SUV reinforces its position at the forefront of the industry with enhanced driving performance and a remarkably increased range. The new BMW iX now boasts a maximum range of up to 435 miles on a single charge, setting a high standard within its competitive landscape.

The new BMW iX will be available worldwide from spring 2025 as the BMW iX xDrive45, BMW iX xDrive60, and the BMW iX M70 xDrive.

The new BMW iX boasts an impressive exterior with a bold presence and solid monolithic design, reflecting the distinctive proportions of an SUV. Its design language is streamlined, emphasizing essential features and well-defined surfaces. A standout element of the front is the newly designed BMW radiator grille, which features a delicate frame and an intricate pattern of vertical and diagonal lines within. Additionally, the BMW Iconic Glow kidney grille with contour lighting, a standard feature on the new BMW iX M70 xDrive, is now offered as a fresh option.

The new BMW iX lineup features electric all-wheel drive with motors on both the front and rear axles. The power system has been enhanced for improved performance, with the iX xDrive45 now delivering 408 hp, a boost of 82 hp, resulting in a 0-100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration time of 5.1 seconds—an improvement of 1.0 seconds. Meanwhile, the iX xDrive60 sees its power output rise to 544 hp, achieving the same acceleration in 4.6 seconds. Both models have a top speed electronically limited to 200 km/h (124 mph).

The new BMW iX features advanced driver assistance systems that enhance functionality and reliability. Standard equipment includes Driving Assistant Plus, which offers Active Cruise Control with Stop & Go for speeds up to 111 mph, along with front collision warning with brake intervention and Parking Assistant with Reversing Assistant and Camera. 

An optional highlight is the Highway Assistant with Level 2+ functionality, allowing the driver to relinquish steering on dual carriageways at speeds up to 81 mph. It also includes the innovative Active Lane Change Assistant with eye activation. Additionally, the optional Parking Assistant Professional enables parking and maneuvering via smartphone control.
