BMW has officially unveiled the 2026 M2 CS, a high-performance, limited-edition version of the M2 that takes power and precision to the next level. Here’s what makes it special

• Engine & Performance: The M2 CS is powered by a 523-hp 3.0L twin-turbo inline-six engine, delivering 479 lb-ft of torque. It’s exclusively rear-wheel drive and comes with an 8-speed M Steptronic automatic transmission. The car can sprint from 0–60 mph in just 3.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 188 mph with the M Driver’s Package.
• Weight Reduction & Handling: BMW has shaved nearly 100 pounds off the standard M2 by incorporating carbon fiber in the roof, trunk lid, rear diffuser, and interior trim. The adaptive M suspension, stiffer engine mounts, and revised chassis tuning ensure sharper handling.
• Exclusive Features: The M2 CS comes with matte-bronze forged wheels (19-inch front, 20-inch rear), track-ready tires, and M Compound brakes with optional carbon-ceramic upgrades. Inside, it features Alcantara-trimmed M Carbon bucket seats, a flat-bottom M steering wheel, and BMW’s latest OS 8.5 infotainment system.
• Production & Pricing: Manufacturing begins in August 2025 with deliveries expected in late summer. Pricing starts at $98,600 USD (plus destination fees).
