Isringhausen Imports was proud to sponsor the 13th Annual Abe Lincoln Car Show Spectacular, held Saturday, August 1st at Cherry Hills Church in Springfield. The event brought together enthusiasts, families, and community members for a celebration of automotive heritage despite a few passing rain showers.

The weekend kicked off in style during Friday’s Cruise Night, where a stunning Tanzanite Blue BMW X7, provided by Isringhausen BMW, led the parade. Riding in the X7 were CHiPs star Robert Pine and American Graffiti actress Candy Clark, following a police escort of motorcycle officers. Larry Wilcox, also of CHiPs fame, followed immediately behind in a green Mustang convertible, adding even more Hollywood flair to the procession.

Wilcox later shared a heartfelt reflection online: “This weekend I traveled to Springfield, Illinois, for an autograph signing. I met hundreds of wonderful people—veterans, families, grandparents, children—and I was reminded once again that the human heart has an extraordinary way of carrying memories for a lifetime.”

Saturday’s show drew nearly 160 vehicles, each braving the raindrops to be part of the celebration. The enthusiasm was contagious, and the community spirit was unmistakable.

One of the standout stories came from Patrick, owner of the Lightning McQueen replica car, who announced he had broken an all‑time fundraising record for the Cure for Kids charity, raising nearly $5,000. A remarkable achievement and a testament to the generosity of the attendees.

Isringhausen Imports was honored to support this beloved Springfield tradition and extends sincere appreciation to show organizer Greg Cooper for his dedication, leadership, and positive impact on the local community and economy.

Now, bring on the Route 66 Mother Road Festival, Springfield’s biggest automotive celebration of the year!
