The 2026 BMW X5 M60i continues to prove why BMW's midsize luxury SUV remains a benchmark in its segment. As an "oldie but a goodie," the X5 benefits from decades of refinement while staying at the forefront of technology, comfort, and driving enjoyment. Its athletic stance, confident road presence, and unmistakable BMW design language give it an enduring appeal that feels both contemporary and timeless.
Inside, the X5 M60i delivers a cabin that balances craftsmanship with innovation. High-quality materials, a curved digital display, intuitive connectivity, and a thoughtfully designed interior make every journey feel first-class. Practicality remains a core strength, with generous passenger accommodations, flexible cargo capacity, and the versatility expected from a premium SUV. Whether commuting through the week or heading out for a weekend road trip, the X5 adapts effortlessly to a wide range of lifestyles.
What truly sets the M60i apart is its performance. Powered by a 523-horsepower twin-turbocharged V8 engine, it delivers the kind of acceleration and responsiveness typically associated with sports sedans rather than luxury SUVs. Yet it never sacrifices comfort. The result is a vehicle that feels equally at home carving through winding roads or quietly cruising long distances. As many reviewers have noted, the X5's unique appeal lies in how convincingly it blends luxury, technology, and surprisingly agile driving dynamics into a single package.
